Tony Thompson on the hobby of Genealogy. Discussion of the basics and how-to's for the beginning hobbyist and family historian. Costs, techniques and rewards discussed.
March 7th 
Author James Van Eldik on his new book "From the Flame of Battle to the Fiery Cross".  His book is a history of the 3rd Tennessee Infantry and its first commander John C. Brown. His book covers the western war theatre including Chickamauga and Atlanta. The book also has mini biographies on several soldiers who witness postwar history and the birth of the Klan.

Compatriot Tommy Houston of the Ludowici - Robert Houstoun Anderson Camp on the 5th Georgia Cavalry. Houston shows over 70 rare slides about the history of the regiment. Houston is one of the foremost authorities on the 5th Georgia Calavry. Houston is a direct descendant of the regiment's commander and noted authority on the history of the Liberty, Long, Tattnall areas from which this regiment drew its soldiers.

Noted Author Kelly Barrow speaks on the topic of Black Confederate Soldiers. Barrow is the author of two books on the topic and is recognized as one of the foremost authorities on this overlooked and misunderstood area of study.

Georgia Author of the Year Award winner Mauriel Joslyn comes to speak to us. She is the acclaimed author of The Immortal 600- A book about the legendary resolute POW's and a book on the life of Major General Patrick Cleburne. She has leave to discuss anything she wishes.

September 5th - SouthCentral Brigade Commander David Moncus will be our guest and will discuss the history and life of President Jefferson Davis.

Authors Michael J.Gilhuly, M.D. J.D. and wife Marilyn Gilhuly  of Marietta, Ga. on their new book "Call to Glory, The Life and Times of a Texas Ranger" about the author's family history.  The book traces the saga of the Wiley brothers from their days in the Confederacy to their days in the Texas Rangers. November- Ogeechee Rifles Past Commander Mike Mull talks about "Honest Abe". A revealing look at President Abraham Lincoln and his policies during the War. This promises to be an entertaining and informative presentation.
